Certain services or programs offered by the CNPS automatically renew annually. These programs are clearly identified as renewing annually when you make your selection in your MyCNPS account.
By opting in for a service or program which automatically renews, you authorize the Canadian Nurses Protective Society on an automatic basis to annually:
- Renew the service or program
- Charge the applicable fee(s) to the credit card that you place on file
Automatic renewals will be processed in early November of each year for the protection period of January 1st to December 31st of the following year (for example, you will be charged registration fees in early November 2024 for the registration period of January 1-December 31, 2025). An email reminder of automatic renewal will be sent in advance, within 30 days of automatic renewal and will contain a notice of fee change, if applicable. If you do not wish to proceed with the automatic renewal of the service or program for an upcoming licensure year, you can opt out at any time by notifying the CNPS in writing by email at registration@cnps.ca, or by replying to the notice of impending renewal. If you choose not to renew, the service or program (i.e. protection) for which you have registered will remain in effect until the end of the current term.
If your payment cannot be processed, you will be notified by email prior to December 31st. If there are any changes to the CNPS Terms and Conditions, you will be notified and prompted to accept the terms in advance of renewal. All information is collected, used and disclosed in accordance with the CNPS Privacy Policy.
