CNPS Celebrates National Nursing Week 2025

Canadian Nurses Protective Society > CNPS Celebrates National Nursing Week 2025

The Canadian Nurses Protective Society (CNPS) joins the nurses of Canada in celebrating National Nursing Week from May 12th to 18th. This year, the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) has identified the National Nursing Week theme as “The Power of Nurses to Transform Health,” which aims to highlight the impact of nurses across Canada in shaping health care, driving innovation, and advocating for patient-centered care.

Nursing is a pillar of the healthcare system, with nurses bringing their expertise and compassion to patients and families in times when they need it most. Moving beyond patient care, nurses have navigated an ever-evolving healthcare landscape, acting as innovators and advocates, while constantly working to acquire new knowledge and skills. From challenging work environments to expanding scopes of practice, we understand that nurses and nursing students are always learning and with that, working to shape and innovate the future of healthcare in Canada.

We at CNPS understand that your role is both challenging and rewarding, and we are here to stand by you every step of the way. We are proud to support you in your vital work and are always available to help you navigate the complexities that arise in your practice.

We thank you for your dedication and commitment to providing exceptional care. Happy National Nursing Week!

The CNPS: More than liability protection.

CNPS is a not-for-profit society that offers legal advice, risk-management services, legal assistance and professional liability protection related to nursing practice in Canada to more than 150,000 eligible nurses.
