Celebrating National NP Week

Canadian Nurses Protective Society > CNPS > Celebrating National NP Week

It’s National Nurse Practitioner (NP) Week! From November 10 to 16, we celebrate and recognize the vital role NPs play in healthcare across Canada.

Nurse Practitioners use their clinical expertise to diagnose, prescribe, and treat patients. In many jurisdictions, Nurse Practitioners may run independent practices, serve as primary care providers, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals within multidisciplinary teams. Their broad scope of practice not only enhances access to healthcare but also allows them to deliver comprehensive patient care.

As part of our support for Nurse Practitioners, we provide specialized publications, webinars and other resources to help you manage risk and enhance your nursing practice. When complex and difficult situations arise, the CNPS lawyers provide one-to-one confidential legal advice and assistance to our beneficiaries.

Join us in celebrating Nurse Practitioners and recognizing the exceptional care they deliver every day!

2. Your CRNA permit number (found in the top-right corner of College Connect when you are logged in).
